The truth Mr. Mask revealed: The fundamental difference from Bernie Sanders' "take" political philosophy
Recently, Elon Musk responded on social media, stating that almost all of his assets are composed of shares in Tesla and SpaceX. Musk emphasized the simple causal relationship that as these companies increase production and expand their services, their stock prices rise, resulting in an increase in his assets. What emerges from his words is a perspective on the economy that is completely different from Bernie Sanders’ political philosophy.
The True Value Creation Brought by Actual Production
What Musk repeatedly emphasizes is the concept of “production.” His asset growth is not driven by speculation or market trading, but by Tesla manufacturing electric vehicles and SpaceX developing space technology. In other words, providing real products and services to society in the form of actual value creation is the logic that leads to long-term asset growth.
This philosophy contrasts with the concept of “wealth redistribution” advocated by politicians like Bernie Sanders. In Sanders’ “take” politics, wealth is simply moved around without creating new value. On the other hand, Musk practices an approach that involves creating new industries, generating new employment, and expanding the overall societal pie.
How All Shareholders of Tesla and SpaceX Benefit
Musk further pointed out that all shareholders of Tesla and SpaceX (including employees) can enjoy the benefits of stock price increases. This is an important point. It is not just Musk’s personal assets that increase, but the entire shareholder base shares in the benefits of value creation driven by the companies’ growth.
In other words, value creation based on production can benefit not just an individual, but everyone involved with the company. This is fundamentally different from the “take” philosophy of Bernie Sanders and similar ideologies.
