Tokenization startup Cork completes $5.5 million seed round funding, led by CSX and a16z

On January 21, according to The Block, tokenization startup Cork completed a $5.5 million seed round funding, led by CSX, a16z, and Road Capital. BitGo Ventures, Cooley, IDEO Ventures, PEER VC, and WAGMI Ventures also participated in the investment. Cork is a startup focused on tokenization risk, building a “programmable risk layer” to make hidden risks in emerging real-world asset classes transparent and tradable through tokenization.
