Turning 3000 into 1 million? It's not that mysterious. The real challenge is having the patience to see this path through.
When I started with small capital, I was in the same boat—only 3000 yuan, which is about 500 USD. Many people see this number and give up, thinking it's too little to matter. But I was very clear about one thing: small capital isn't impossible to play with; it's about not playing recklessly.
**Phase One: Survive and build up the principal (1-3 months)**
Although 500 USD is small, I didn't plan to put it all in at once. The amount I used to open positions was only 100 USD. This 100 USD had a clear purpose—it wasn't for long-term holdings but for trial and error as startup capital.
My operating principles are just three: focus only on market hot spots for quick in-and-out; strict stop-losses—no hesitation when wrong; close positions immediately when profitable, avoid getting stuck on a single trade.
Playing this way, the rhythm is roughly: 100U → 200U → 400U → 800U → 1000U+. The goal is simple—accumulate usable cash, not to get rich overnight. Once the capital exceeds 1000U, my approach clearly shifts—short-term trading on volatility, and in the medium term, waiting for a genuine trend to form before adding positions.
Later, I tested this method with larger funds, and the logic proved effective—provided only one thing: you must stick to your rules.
**Phase Two: From reckless trading to compound growth (1-4 years)**
Once your funds reach around 100,000 yuan, the entire approach must change fundamentally. At this stage, it's no longer about trading frequency but about holding steady, not making impulsive moves, and seizing those truly game-changing opportunities.
My funds are divided into three layers: half follow the major trend, 30% build a long-term base position, and the remaining 20% are for bottom-fishing or chasing hot spots. You don't need to be glued to the screen every day; often, the key to success is those one or two crucial moves during a bull market.
Many people get stuck in the first phase, unable to move forward—not because the market is bad, but because they want to skip the accumulation process. Market opportunities are always rotating. Going from 3000 to 1 million is never a myth, but only those willing to progress step by step will see it happen. If you're truly committed to taking this slower but sustainable route, the next wave of opportunities is already waiting for you.
