“I've also taken wrong turns before”

Always watching the charts, drawing lines, studying various theories, thinking I was very professional, but ended up blowing up my account twice, making it smaller and smaller.

Later, I completely changed my approach, no longer messing with those complicated things, but instead using the most “primitive and foolproof” method in the crypto world. Surprisingly, this simple set of rules gradually grew my account from over 2,000 to more than 13.

The method isn't complicated, with only three core points, but the premise is: it must be executed properly.

1: Only trade genuine strength

Don't guess washouts, don't study trap setups, only look at whether the price effectively breaks through previous highs. If it breaks through, go with it; if it fails, exit. Never fight the trend. The goal is to follow the trend, not predict it.

2: Always keep a light position

Each trade at most 20% of your capital, take profits gradually. Stop when hit by a stop-loss, don't add positions, don't hold onto losing trades, and avoid emotional revenge trading. Staying alive is more important than doubling.

3: Follow the trend, don't bottom-fish

In an uptrend, only go long; in a downtrend, only consider shorting. Don't predict the future, just follow the clearest current direction and earn what’s available. I might only make one or two trades a week, while others make ten or more daily, but my account becomes more stable over time.

It's not that I'm particularly skilled, but that I finally stopped fighting the market.

In the crypto world, those who truly make money are often not the best analysts, but those who can stick to simple rules and execute them to the end.

What you might lack isn't technical skill, but discipline and patience.

Stop messing around with fancy tricks. Stick to a foolproof method for a month, and the results might make you see trading in a new light.
