#GateProofOfReservesReport

What is Gate’s Proof of Reserves and why is it important?
The Gate Proof of Reserves (PoR) Report is a transparency mechanism designed to show that Gate holds enough on-chain assets to fully cover all user funds on the platform. In simple terms, it proves that users’ assets are backed 1:1 and are not being misused, lent out without consent, or under-collateralized.
In an industry where trust is critical, Proof of Reserves allows anyone to independently verify that an exchange is solvent. Gate uses Merkle Tree cryptography, enabling users to confirm that their individual balances are included in the total reserves—without exposing personal data. This ensures privacy while maintaining full transparency.
Gate’s PoR report includes:
On-chain wallet addresses holding user assets
Verification of reserve ratios above 100%
Third-party auditing and cryptographic validation
Real-time data that users can check themselves
Why does this matter?
After past events in the crypto industry, users demand more accountability. Proof of Reserves helps eliminate blind trust and replaces it with verifiable proof. It shows that Gate prioritizes user fund safety, transparency, and responsible asset management.
By publishing regular Proof of Reserves reports, Gate reinforces its commitment to: ✔ Financial integrity
✔ User protection
✔ Open blockchain verification
✔ Long-term trust in crypto
Transparency isn’t optional—it’s essential. Gate’s Proof of Reserves is a strong step toward building a safer and more trustworthy crypto ecosystem.
