Camp Network partners with Mugafi, introducing Bollywood theatrical movies on-chain for the first time in the form of yield-generating RWA.

Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 12th, Camp Network announced a partnership with film financing platform Mugafi, marking the first time Bollywood theatrical films are introduced on-chain in the form of revenue-generating RWA and open for community participation. The film is a large-scale historical drama titled “Swari Agra,” set to be released on January 30th.

Participating investors will receive an annualized return of 40%, and the names of major contributors will be included in the film’s end credits.

This collaboration is the first instance of Bollywood film on-chain financing at an institutional level, representing an important step towards a permissionless RWA economy in the high-threshold film industry. At the same time, this model also provides a new paradigm for traditional film studios, enabling them to quickly and directly access global community capital support, and allowing the community to participate directly in the production and marketing of the film.
