Today, I used trae to call 3 pro for company data comparison. What would normally take at least half a day of manual work was completed in less than an hour directly with the agent. I also used the pro web version for comparison, and the differences are as follows:
1. Using trae is like setting up a programming project. You place the files to be compared into the project folder, and it will create supporting programs based on the requirements, then perform detailed comparisons with a very clear process.
2. Using the web version for analysis is not as good for real-time adjustments, and its accuracy is also somewhat lacking. It also lacks some details in interaction. After generating the results, it tells you you can download the comparison data, but... the download link is fake. (This is not the first time I've encountered this!)
Overall, I feel that in the future, chatbots will be mainly used for Q&A and information retrieval, while for slightly more complex tasks, it's better to use the agent to do the work. Actually, I’ve also used ChatGPT for similar tasks before, and it often just reminds you that the output is ready and you can download it, but the correct download link never appears. But if you use the agent to work, it operates directly on the local machine, the process is transparent, and adjusting details is more convenient.
