After spending a long time in the crypto world, I’ve noticed a very realistic phenomenon: many newcomers are actually stuck at the very first step without even realizing it.

It’s not that they don’t want to learn; the key issue is that the information itself is very chaotic. What you can access is often one-sided—some only talk about technology, some only about emotions, some only about individual coins, and no one is providing a clear overall picture.

The most heartbreaking part is that for the same question, ten people give ten different answers. Some say it’s a great opportunity, others say it’s about to collapse. Everyone speaks confidently, but their directions are completely opposite. Who should a beginner listen to? In the end, it becomes whoever talks the loudest or the most convincingly, and you’re still left confused.

I myself went through this stage when I first got started. At that time, I listened carefully, asked questions seriously, but no one could clearly tell you: what stage are you at now, what risks correspond to this stage, and how should you prepare next. It’s like feeling your way in a dark room—knowing the direction but not seeing the road.

The analogy of exploring a dark room is just perfect, that's exactly how it feels. Ten top influencers give ten different directions, making me think I might be colorblind for a moment. Whoever speaks the loudest, I go all in on them, only to lose money twice before I realize. Someone should have systematically organized a beginner's map long ago, so we wouldn't be blindly guessing anymore. Honestly, most people are just overwhelmed by this information chaos, it's not that they don't want to learn. There are really too many traps. Those who focus only on technicals are just as risky as those who only hype coins. None of it is comprehensive.

That's why I eventually just started digging for information myself. It's really exhausting waiting for others to feed you. The most common thing I've heard is "Trust me, I'm right," then going all-in and losing everything, it's hilarious. The metaphor of "Black Room Touching Elephant" is brilliant; I'm still feeling around now. The issue of ten different answers is so realistic; everyone has their own reasoning, and in the end, newbies become targets for harvesting chives. Actually, what’s needed is someone who can clearly explain "what's your current situation and what to do next." It's too difficult. I took a look at those "big Vs" around me; what they say sounds better than singing, but what’s the result? Still useless. Not wanting to learn isn't the main reason, it's really because the information black box in this circle is too serious. Seeing how many people's pain points this article hits, I feel sorry for the newbies. Actually, the most important thing at this point is to stop listening to stories, look at the K-line yourself, everything else is nonsense. One sentence summary: Whoever dares to draw a panoramic picture for you is a true friend, but such people are almost nonexistent.

That's why I now look at the data myself and don't believe any idiot's comments.

This is exactly how I was back then... Ten people, ten answers, and in the end, you can only rely on luck. --- Feeling around in a dark room is really intense, and being brainwashed by the loudest shouter is even worse. --- You’re so right. I’ve experienced how chaotic information can be, and beginners are really easy to get misled. --- Stuck on the first step, that statement hit me hard. Everyone wants to get on board quickly, but their minds are still blank. --- The key is that no one wants to teach properly; everyone just wants to take a cut from you. --- That’s why I’m very cautious now. I’ve already been scammed once. --- Seeing the phrase "Trust whoever talks the loudest" really hits home... I was like that last year. --- Totally agree. The crypto world has a lot of information, but the quality varies greatly. Beginners simply can’t filter quickly. --- So my current strategy is to listen more, watch more, and act less. I’ll only get in when I truly understand. --- The metaphor of feeling around in a dark room is very fitting. I’m still in the dark room now. --- The question of ten answers actually has no standard answer, but beginners shouldn’t have to pay for that. --- This might be the biggest trap in the crypto world: the entry cost isn’t money, but the time wasted being misled.

Totally understand, I've been scammed like that too... In the end, I found that the loudest voices are often the ones that suffer the biggest losses.

The analogy of feeling around in a dark room is perfect; that's exactly how I got wrecked back then, haha. With so much information, I end up trusting nothing. In the end, I had to learn the hard way by making mistakes. Whoever steps forward gets wrecked—that's the curse of the crypto world. Really? People still ask me how to get started. I don't even know what to say anymore. By the way, have you ever thought about creating a beginner's guide or map? That's what’s most needed right now.
