I came close to never open sourcing BabyAGI. Looking back, that would've been a huge mistake—keeping something like this locked up defeats the whole purpose of building in Web3. The decision to go open source ended up being one of the best calls, not just for the project itself, but for what it enabled across the broader developer community. Sometimes the friction you feel about sharing your work is exactly the sign you should push through and do it.

It's easy to talk about open source, but very few actually make the decision to do so.

ngl open source was truly a turning point; if it had remained closed source, it would have been forgotten long ago.

Open source is really a do-or-die decision; only in hindsight do we realize how wise it was.

Open source is really a hurdle, but once you get past it, it's a blue ocean.
