Recently, a young brother at home has developed an interest in the crypto world and wants to start learning. I'm a bit conflicted about whether to guide him hands-on.

Honestly, I have some reservations about this. Once I decide to teach him, I have to take on the corresponding responsibility. If he makes a mistake in operation and loses his capital, that guilt will stay with me. The risks in the crypto world are really not small, especially for beginners.

But on the other hand, if I teach him well, he might be able to understand market logic more quickly and master risk management skills, and in the end, he might even earn more than I do. That possibility also exists.

For now, I need to think carefully. If I decide to teach him, I should start from the most basic concepts and emphasize that risk awareness is far more important than making quick money.

Haha brother, this is a typical case of "wanting him to build a position but afraid he'll get liquidated." To be honest, I'm just the kind of rookie like your little brother who was brought in before. Now, I actually have a higher return than the person who brought me in, so nothing really matters. The key is the mindset.

On-chain data shows that retail investors' loss rate can reach 92%. Your brother's risk model is just as fragile as the parameters before a beginner's contract deployment. You can teach him, but start with cold wallets and private key management. Don't talk about the prospects of any specific tokens first, as those are illusions.

Don't teach him, or you'll blame yourself in the end. Family relationships are much more valuable than gains in the crypto world. --- Has this guy thought it through? Once you teach him, there's no turning back. If it were me, I'd just give him some materials to read on his own. --- No matter how much you talk about risk awareness, it’s useless. You have to experience a loss to truly understand. Just leave him some tuition fees. --- I just want to ask, does he have spare money? If not, never touch it. That's my painful lesson. --- Actually, whether you teach him or not, new people in the crypto space will end up paying tuition fees. The key is not to let him go all-in. --- Why hesitate? Just tell him: only invest what you can afford to lose. Whether he listens or not is his business. --- Haha, I totally understand that regretful look of yours. You haven't even taught him yet, but you're already feeling uneasy. It will be even harder to persuade him later when your efforts are in vain. --- If he truly has talent, he can learn and figure things out on his own through trial and error. Why would he need you to hold his hand? --- Instead of worrying about this, ask him if he really wants to learn or just wants to get rich quickly. If his attitude is wrong, teaching him is pointless.

My goodness, this is a dead end. Neither teaching nor not teaching feels right. If my younger brother loses money, I have to take the blame; if he makes money, I feel like I didn't teach him well. That's how the crypto world is. It's better to let him play with small amounts first. Real blood and tears lessons are more effective than a thousand words. Don't overestimate your teaching ability, and underestimate the cruelty of the crypto world. --- Honestly, I find this kind of hesitation a bit amusing... In the end, you still have to teach, so be mentally prepared for him to lose money. --- Haha, I've heard that risk awareness spiel too many times. In the end, it just takes one coin to skyrocket, and people rush in. --- I think you should ask yourself whether you've made money or not. If you haven't even achieved stable profits, teaching others is a bit uncertain. --- The most important thing is not to let him go all-in. That's the bottom line, right? Everything else can be taken slowly and still manageable.

Buddy, you can teach him, but make sure he doesn't go all in. --- Honestly, I was also conflicted about this, but I just pretended I didn't see it. --- Risk awareness really needs to be drilled in; don’t get wiped out before you even learn. --- If you're really going to teach him, let him listen and watch more in the beginning, and do less hands-on. That’s the way to go. --- A sense of responsibility is good, but don’t tie yourself down; he needs to learn to bear the consequences himself. --- Instead of hand-holding, give him some reliable learning resources; figuring it out on his own is more effective. --- That’s why I never actively bring people into the market—it's too exhausting. --- Losing money is unavoidable for everyone; the key is how much you lose and what you learn. --- Bro, I have just one thing to say: don’t use real money as a teaching tool; the risk is too high. --- Actually, the best teaching method is to let him watch how you operate, then let him practice on his own.

Bro, I've already told you about this. Opportunity knocks but once. Why wait to teach him now? I brought my cousin in three years ago, and now he's already able to harvest profits himself, haha.

Honestly, the hardest part of guiding newbies isn't teaching them knowledge, but helping them avoid greed. Really don't teach them short-term trading; it's too addictive. That's how the crypto world is—teaching risk management is more valuable than teaching how to make money. Being a bit cautious isn't wrong; at least you can sleep well. Tell them stories of those who got liquidated; it's more effective than any lesson.
