Those obscure projects are hardly worth anyone's effort to criticize. On the contrary, the more successful and promising a project is, the more likely it is to attract a large number of trolls and skeptics—these people see its threat and fear that it might actually succeed. So, from a different perspective, the intensity of FUD itself can reflect a project's true value. The greater the volume and controversy, the more significant the matter is.

This logic is indeed brilliant. The more people criticize it, the more it proves that this thing really poses a threat. FUD is the best endorsement; haters are voting with their feet. Larger volume = greater value. I buy into this theory. The more a project is criticized, the more worth watching. Using FUD as an indicator in reverse, haha. Those neglected are truly the trash; controversy at least indicates that it's alive. Number of haters = potential index. New paper.

Negative comments actually indicate that the project has potential; I love this logic. --- Wait, there’s also a lot of FUD about trash coins. How do you explain that? --- The more you get criticized, the more valuable it becomes? I feel like some projects are just plain bad. --- So we need to learn to think in reverse; the more intense the FUD, the more attention it deserves. --- No way, some projects have many critics because they indeed have issues, alright? --- That perspective is fresh, but it’s also easy to be fooled, haha. --- It makes sense, but the premise is that the project itself has no problems.

Bearish comments indicate a good project; but I feel like something's off about that logic... So why do people keep criticizing me every day for my worthless coins?

nah this is just the inverse of survivorship bias dressed up as governance theory. like yeah big projects get more heat, but that doesn't mean heat = validity. some things get torched for actual reasons, y'know?
