Large capital strategies are indeed ruthless.

According to on-chain data tracking, a well-known early BTC holder has been very active recently—between December 7 and 27, they continuously held long positions worth $745 million, involving BTC, ETH, and SOL, three mainstream cryptocurrencies. Over 20 days, this long position has accumulated an unrealized loss of $52.26 million. Even more painful, the cost of funding rates alone has burned through over $3 million.

In other words, while maintaining high-level long positions, they are paying the price for this optimism every day. The scale of funds and risk tolerance behind this strategy is truly worth noting for ordinary investors—it serves as both a barometer of market sentiment and a true reflection of the cost structure of large capital.

Damn, burning 3 million in fees a day? How resilient does this guy have to be? We can't even earn a fraction of that.

Life is tough, even rich people burn money so aggressively. --- Over 700 million invested, with the fee rate eating away day by day. Is this the cost of big traders? How hard do we need to work to earn it back? --- Damn, 3 million in funds can be burned just on fees. When you do the math, it’s outrageous. --- Basically, it’s just rich people being willful. Losing over 50 million feels like playing around. --- If this guy really takes the right stance, how much would he need to earn to break even? --- Everyone would probably shed tears for their long positions at high levels. Waking up every day losing millions. --- That’s why I never trade futures. Just looking at these fees makes me want to lie flat. --- No wonder retail traders can’t make money. Look at how big funds operate—at worst, it’s just more expensive tuition. --- Being optimistic costs money, and I really wasn’t wrong about that. The price of persistence is exactly this.

52.26 million floating loss? Our small retail investors' annual earnings can't even cover one month's fees for them.

Early holders lost 52.26 million and can still hold? We retail investors cut our losses at the first drop, the gap is really huge.
