#比特币与黄金战争 Ethereum Hits $3000? Check Out How Intense the Liquidation Wave Is
On December 27, according to on-chain data from CoinGlass, the entire market sentiment was instantly ignited. If Ethereum's price breaks through $3000, the liquidation strength on major CEXs will spike to 762 million; conversely, if it drops below $2850, the liquidation strength on long positions will also surge to 630 million.
Traders are well aware — when a liquidation wave hits, market volatility skyrockets. These two price levels have now become true "sentiment turning points."
It's important to clarify: don’t interpret the liquidation chart as a "contract bill about to be liquidated." The bars on the chart actually represent "liquidation strength," simply put, how much market liquidity will be stirred when the price reaches that level. The taller the bar, the more intense the potential chain reaction that could follow.
Currently, the market focus is on these two levels. Whether pushing up to 3000 or dropping down to 2850, this liquidation impact is enough to cause significant market swings. Whether these key levels can hold will largely determine if the market continues to rally or quickly drops.
