These days I've been immersed in event contracts, and I've taken quite a hit. Stepping back to reflect calmly, I finally understand where my issues lie—

The first pitfall is an overly impatient mindset. Seeing volatility, I want to buy the dip; seeing a rally, I want to chase the high. What's the second pitfall? Never actually following my own trading rules. I set up a system but treat it as useless, relying solely on intuition when placing trades. The third and most fatal pitfall—lacking a trading system itself.

To survive in this market, you must have your own trading system and strictly adhere to it. Trading without a system is gambling, and gambling only has one outcome here.

I know very well that I am still on the road, and my credibility is limited. But this is what I’ve been doing—gradually transforming from a novice, establishing discipline, and sticking to the system. Maybe it’s not so inspiring, but this is the truth of trading. Let’s encourage each other.

I feel you, event contracts are the deepest traps. I also went all-in and got completely wrecked. I'm still reflecting on why I was so brainless.

Oh no, I messed up again this time and lost so much I want to vomit blood. Relying on intuition to place orders is truly a sin. I died this way too. System execution is the key. It's easy to say but incredibly difficult to do.

The biggest lesson from losing money is realizing how inexperienced I am, haha. System stuff is easy to talk about but really tough to implement. When watching the market, my mind is all muddled.

It's a costly lesson, but you have to pay the tuition fee. The key is that you really need to have your own set of rules.

Yeah, that's quite true. Too many people talk about the system, but as soon as their hands tremble, they forget everything. That's right, I feel like the whole process of placing orders will eventually backfire. I've learned this the hard way. The system is really meant to save lives; without it, you're just throwing money away. I resonate with that. If you can't overcome impatience, it feels like you can't play well. Less nonsense, the key is whether you execute or not. Most people get stuck right here.
