New Year's predictions are flying everywhere, but honestly? Looking back at previous years often yields greater insights.

Instead of blindly guessing what 2025 will bring, it's better to review the past 12 months thoroughly. Let's discuss two questions:

First: What was your most successful trade in 2025? Why did it make money? Did you catch the right market rhythm? Or did you stay rational when others were panicking? Or did you discover an undervalued coin or strategy?

Second: And what about your biggest loss? Where did your operation logic go wrong? Was it FOMO entering, too loose stop-loss settings, or a serious lack of risk assessment?

The answers to these two questions can tell you more about your true trading style and weaknesses than any prediction. Sometimes, the best learning comes from those raw, real experiences.

That really hits home. The biggest profit I made last year was by doing nothing. While others were panicking, I just stayed put, and ended up making a ton. The biggest loss? Don't even mention it. I was hit with severe FOMO, and I'm still stuck in a lock-up...

That was really the worst loss. Buying at a high point and holding on stubbornly, setting the stop-loss too wide resulted in no stop-loss at all—such a bloody lesson.

Looking back over the past 12 months, the most profitable trade was actually calmly entering the market when liquidity was at its thinnest... While others were shouting about cutting losses, I was providing liquidity. The biggest loss? Don't even mention it, it was purely FOMO and brainless.

The most profitable trade last year was simply bottom-fishing. While others were crying, I increased my position. Looking back, it was just luck, haha. The biggest loss was definitely a brain fart—chasing high out of FOMO without setting a stop-loss, losing so much I doubted my life. It was a painful lesson.

That's right, looking back is definitely more reliable than blind prediction. That losing trade of mine still appears in my dreams, and I was FOMOing so badly. I just didn't set a proper stop-loss, a painful lesson.

ngl the "review vs predict" framing is solid but let's be real—most people won't actually do this brutal audit. they'd rather scroll through some influencer's 2025 "altseason" thesis lol. the actual edge is in understanding your own loss mechanics tho. that part hits different.
