Bitroot V4 testnet is officially open to the public today. What does this mean? In simple terms, this is the most critical step before the mainnet goes live.

Why is that? The environment built for the V4 testnet is the closest to the actual operation state of the mainnet. The team needs to verify all technical details, performance, security mechanisms—any issues that can be thought of must be discovered and resolved here. Only after passing this final round of testing will the mainnet be truly ready.

In other words, we are now in the final sprint of the pre-mainnet testing phase. For users participating in the test, this is the closest experience to a real environment; for the project, this is the last hurdle before the mainnet launch. Charge! The testnet phase is the time to see if the team has real skills and expertise. There are still so many pitfalls to navigate before the mainnet launch, which shows that the previous versions indeed had many issues.
