Don't remind me again today

What’s the biggest taboo in trading? Holding on stubbornly.

You think BCH should go up, but it drops for three days. You say WLFI’s technicals look perfect, but it just moves sideways. XLM clearly has strong fundamentals, but the price refuses to cooperate.

At times like this, don’t fight with yourself—the market isn’t wrong, it’s our own predictions that are off.

The traders who survive long-term all understand one thing: follow the market wherever it goes. Your analysis turned out wrong? Admit it. Got trapped in a position? Cut your losses. When the market is teaching you a lesson, just pay the tuition and move on.

Riding the trend is always more important than proving you’re smart.
BCH2.96%
WLFI0.94%
XLM1.2%

Hanging on to this really can't be played, I used to stubbornly stick to BCH and ended up doubting life because of the losses. Now I've learned to admit defeat and use stop loss to survive until now.

That was harsh, and it really hit home. I got completely wrecked by BCH like this last year—insisted on proving myself right, and ended up losing half my principal.

Stubbornly holding on is really a terrible habit. That's exactly how I got wrecked by the market, haha.

I definitely need to fix the bad habit of stubbornly holding on; I've been burned by this countless times.

You're absolutely right, stubbornly holding on to this matter is too deadly. I've stumbled myself, refusing to admit losses, and as a result, I was taught a harsh lesson by the market. Stop loss is really a hurdle; once you get over it, you can live longer.

I know all too well the problem of stubbornly holding on. It took so many losses to finally understand... Admitting losses and cutting them is truly the only way to survive.
