🧠 Global Intelligence Rankings: 2025's Smartest Nations 🧠
Japan 🇯🇵 still tops the charts in 2025. Average IQ? An impressive 106.48. They're the brain champions globally. Taiwan 🇹🇼 is right there too - just 0.01 points behind at 106.47. Pretty remarkable stuff coming from East Asian nations.
Singapore 🇸🇬 grabbed third place with 105.89. Not bad at all. Hong Kong 🇭🇰 sits at fourth with 105.37. And then there's China 🇨🇳. Massive country. Lots of people. They're showing some serious brain power at 104.1. That rounds out our top five. 🚀
South Korea 🇰🇷 is hanging in there with the intellectual big leagues at 102.35. Then comes Belarus 🇧🇾 (101.6). Finland 🇫🇮 follows at 101.2. Kind of surprising to see tiny Liechtenstein 🇱🇮 make the list with 101.07. Size doesn't seem to matter for brainpower! Germany 🇩🇪 finishes the top 10 - solid 100.74. 🌕
Look at those East Asian countries. Four out of the top five spots! It's not entirely clear why this keeps happening year after year. But there it is. This brain distribution thing might really shape who leads innovation down the road. 🔥
The rankings come from the Lynn-Becker scale. Fascinating patterns emerge. Educational systems play a part, I guess. But it seems like a messy mix of genes, environment, and culture all jumbled together shapes how smart populations measure up worldwide.
