Since Ethereum went proof-of-stake back in 2022, mining ETC has really taken off. It's 2025 now. Miners needed somewhere to go. ETC welcomed them with open arms.
What's ETC Mining All About?
Mining Ethereum Classic? It's kind of like solving puzzles with powerful computers. Your machine crunches numbers. The network rewards you. Pretty straightforward.
Ethereum abandoned mining years ago. Not ETC though. They stuck with proof-of-work. Loyal to the end. Miners appreciate that commitment—feels almost personal at this point.
Making Money Mining ETC in 2025
Is it profitable? Well, several things in play:
The math works out for many miners. Not getting rich overnight, but it's viable.
The Hardware Situation
ASIC Miners
Jasminer X44-P dominates right now. Pushes 23,400 MH/s. Beast of a machine. Antminer S21 Pro isn't far behind—solid investment if you can find one.
