In my Crypto Assets investment journey, I roughly divide the entire market cycle into six stages: incubation period, awareness period, following period, frenzy period, collapse period, and extinction period. Although this is a cyclical process, my personal experience began in the frenzy period.

In April 2021, amidst the market frenzy, I stumbled upon the world of Crypto Assets. At first, I naively thought that I could easily obtain Bitcoin by just installing a mining program. However, reality quickly made me realize that ordinary computers are no longer capable of mining Bitcoin and I could only try alternatives like Dogecoin or Monero.

With a longing for quick wealth, I registered an exchange account. My first investment—a purchase of Dogecoin for 100 yuan—appreciated to 150 yuan within a few days. Following that, I bought Shiba Inu coin with the same amount, and its value soon doubled. At that time, the price of Bitcoin soared to a historical high of 64,000 USD, and all of this led me to mistakenly believe that I had found the secret to wealth, so I didn't hesitate to increase my investment.

Looking back on this experience, I realized the typical characteristics of a frenzy period: media extensively reporting on Crypto Assets, novice investors rushing in, and various altcoins and animal-themed tokens emerging one after another. In such an environment, many people (including myself at the time) fell into an irrational investment mania.

This experience made me deeply realize that in the Crypto Assets market, calmness and rationality are more important than blindly following the trend. Each investment stage has its characteristics and risks, and the real challenge lies in how to stay clear-headed and make wise decisions during different cycles.

As an investor who has experienced a complete market cycle, I advise newcomers to proceed with caution and not to be blinded by short-term windfalls. Learning, researching, and patience may be the keys to achieving long-term success in this market full of opportunities and risks.
