The proposal from Sonic Labs to "promote the S Token into the traditional Capital Market in the United States" has been approved by community vote.
PANews September 1st news, the Snapshot voting page shows that the proposal "US Expansion and TradFi Adoption Plan (including Nasdaq PIPE tool and S Token acquisition)" put forward by Sonic Labs has been approved by community vote. The preliminary goals of the proposal are: 1. Support for US ETP/ETF, Nasdaq Private Equity Investment listed companies ("PIPE") tools and other institutional S Token buyers; 2. Establish Sonic USA LLC, add Sonic USA CEO and a domestic team across the US, and establish a business base in New York City to provide performance-based compensation plans for new employees; 3. Increase the consumption rate of the gas fee mechanism to strengthen long-term Deflation. The proposal achieves the above goals through the following parameter adjustments, authorizing the issuance of S Tokens equivalent to $150 million for ETP/ETF empowerment and Nasdaq PIPE, and additionally launching the issuance of 150 million S Tokens for Sonic USA.
