According to Wu, Haseeb, a partner at Dragonfly, stated that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has officially clarified in court that previous media reports about "proposing charges against Dragonfly" are not true, and that neither Dragonfly nor any of its executives are subjects of the investigation. Previously, the DOJ had hinted in open court that Dragonfly might face prosecution due to its investment in Open Source privacy technology.
