[July 22nd US Stock Options Leaderboard]

$Amazon(AMZN)$ topped with a transaction volume of $125 million in Call options, but the net buying was only 776,000, with a buy-sell ratio of 1.1:1, suggesting that the main players are more like "tentative positioning." Q2 earnings report will be announced on July 31, and clearly, the bullish options position is being established in advance.

$Netflix(NFLX)$ Single-day Put trading volume surged to 557 million, Put/Call = 67 : 1, a rare "short insurance" phenomenon. The soft revenue guidance driven by exchange rates had caused the stock price to plummet over 5% on July 18, followed by only a weak rebound to $1233, with fundamental concerns still prevalent. If the overall streaming media cools down, the large amount of Put may be paving the way for a deeper adjustment.
