The BUIDL of BlackRock, Ethena Labs, and Ondo Finance has collectively contributed to the tokenization of the Real World Asset (RWA), with a total value locked of (TVL) exceeding 129 billion USD, marking a new record. This milestone reflects the increasing interest of institutions in blockchain solutions, particularly in the tokenization of U.S. Treasury bonds and synthetic cash protocols.
The RWA sector recorded a monthly growth rate of 3.2%, with protocol fees reaching 78.51 million USD in the past week, indicating strong participation from institutions. BlackRock's CEO, Larry Fink, emphasized the transformative potential of asset tokenization, predicting that RWAs will become income-generating components in digital financial ecosystems.
