Bitcoin (BTC) is the world's first decentralized crypto asset, launched in 2009 by an individual or team using the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" based on blockchain technology, with a fixed total supply of 21 million coins, achieving transaction verification and block generation through the PoW mechanism. Its core characteristics include: decentralization (no central bank or institutional control), scarcity (inflation resistance), security (encryption algorithm and distributed ledger) and global liquidity (instant cross-border transfers).

By July 2025, the price of BTC will exceed $109,000, with a market value surpassing $3 trillion, becoming the mainstream "digital gold," driven by both institutional investors (such as ETF inflows) and the policy environment (such as fluctuations in U.S. tariff policies). Its application scenarios cover payments, value storage, and derivative financial products, but it faces regulatory uncertainties (such as bans in some countries), technical bottlenecks (transaction congestion), and high market volatility risks. In the future, BTC may further integrate into the traditional financial system, becoming a key asset against the over-issuance of fiat currency and geopolitical economic uncertainties.
