Oasys Launches Technical Roadmap to Build Three Core Pillars for Chain Game Development

This roadmap proposes corresponding solutions to current technical challenges and user pain points, and outlines plans for short-term and mid-term technological development. The three core components of the Oasys technical roadmap are application data availability, layer two interoperability, and ecosystem scalability.

Technical Challenges Faced by Blockchain Games and Oasys's Response Strategies

Although blockchain games are currently in a period of vigorous development, there are still some technical shortcomings in practice that need to be addressed. Oasys has proposed three key solutions to these challenges:

1. Continuity of game assets: By mirroring game assets on Layer 2 to Layer 1, permanent and continuous protection is provided for user assets. Even if Layer 2 data is discarded, user assets remain secure.

2. Interoperability of Layer2: Introduce cross-chain bridges, adopt a universal data format, and standardize APIs to achieve seamless interoperability between different Layer2s. Users can easily and securely move data and assets between games on Oasys.

Ecosystem Expansion and Practical Applications

Oasys has achieved significant results in the development of practical use cases. In May of this year, Oasys launched the L2 chain XPLA Verse, with multiple well-known games going live on the chain simultaneously. In addition, the blockchain game "Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-" based on the Japanese football manga series "Captain Tsubasa" has also officially launched on Oasys.

In expanding its ecosystem, Oasys has partnered with Japan's SBI Group and South Korea's Kakao's Web3 gaming division Metabora SG to further enhance its influence in the Asian market.
