Recently, a large-scale account ban has taken place on social platforms against content creators and project parties in the cryptocurrency field, including the official accounts and founders of projects such as GMGN and ElizaOS, as well as a number of well-known bloggers in the crypto field. For the affected Chinese creators, I hope they can solve the account problem smoothly. This incident also brings us several important lessons:

First, creators should treat the binding of project links with caution. Many content creators embed promotional links for certain projects (such as contract addresses for small coins or referral registration links) directly in their personal accounts for short-term benefits. This behavior can easily be recognized by the platform system as "low-quality content" or "fraud guidance," significantly increasing the risk of account suspension. It is essential to recognize that a social media account that has been operated for many years is an irreplaceable long-term asset and should not be risked lightly for temporary gains.
Secondly, when using platform services, be sure to go through official channels. Whether it is account verification, advertising placement, or API service usage, you should choose the legitimate methods provided by the platform. Those so-called "low-cost certifications", "group purchase certification marks", or "proxy API opening" services in the market often involve irregular operations or abuse of system vulnerabilities, which can easily trigger the platform's risk control mechanisms, resulting in account suspension.
Thirdly, even on platforms that advocate for freedom of speech, parody content about celebrities still requires special caution. This account suspension incident is closely related to the dissemination of memes, indicating that content involving celebrity mockery and political implications may still be regarded as sensitive information. Especially when you disseminate such content in a graphic-text meme format, artificial intelligence may not be able to understand the satirical intent, leading to severe penalties.
Finally, it is worth noting that today’s social platforms are no longer completely free spaces, but rather content governance environments dominated by algorithms. With the deployment of artificial intelligence content recognition systems, the review mechanisms of platforms are becoming increasingly systematic and automated. Users may not be manually reviewed, but instead automatically classified by algorithms as "problem accounts." Once classified into specific risk models, even posting ordinary content may face consequences such as throttling, downgrading, or even banning, and the appeal process is often fraught with difficulties.
These changes remind us that in today's world, where digital assets and social identity are increasingly important, content creators need to manage their online expression more cautiously, balancing the freedom of content with the rules of the platform.
