According to Jinse Finance, US President Joe Biden is scheduled to leave office on January 20th, but he still has time to issue pardons and commutations for individuals convicted of federal crimes. As of January 9th, the cryptocurrency gambling platform Polymarket has provided users with a 4% chance of President Biden pardoning Sam 'SBF' Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of FTX, and a 2% chance of him pardoning Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road. As of the time of publication, users have placed bets of over $5 million on the odds for SBF and $1.2 million on the odds for Ulbricht. It is not yet clear whether President Biden intends to issue more pardons or commutations before the end of his term.
