S&P expects the Fed to reduce interest rate cuts next year

Jinshi Data December 17th News, Standard & Poor's said that it is expected that the FOMC meeting this week will cut interest rates by 25 basis points and hold a cautious attitude towards future easing policies. It is expected that the revised economic forecast of the Federal Reserve believes that by the end of next year, the federal funds interest rate will reach 3.5%-3.75%, higher than the previous estimate of 3%-3.25%. This adjustment reflects that the economy is more resilient than previously understood, inflation impulses continue to be excessive, and the inflation expectations brought by the policy preferences of the new government have upward risks.
