South Korean police are currently chasing after a criminal gang that robs under the guise of virtual asset trading.

Jinse Finance reported that the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is pursuing a criminal gang that robbed under the pretext of virtual asset trading in central Seoul. The gang, in an office in central Seoul on the 23rd, threatened the victim with violence and forcibly took away a package containing about 180 million Korean won in cash. The victim had intended to conduct a face-to-face virtual asset transaction in their office at the time of the crime, refused to hand the money over to the gang, and said, "I haven't received the coins yet". The police have arrested four suspects, including the mastermind, and have applied for an arrest warrant for the mastermind. They are currently tracking the whereabouts of the other three suspects.
