The military intercepted an unidentified flying object believed to have been launched from inside Syria.
According to the Israeli Times, the Israeli Defense Forces intercepted a "suspicious object" after a drone alarm sounded in the southern Golan Heights. The military stated that the flying object was successfully shot down after being identified in the airspace. According to the Israeli military radio, officials believe that the object was launched from Syria, which is a rare occurrence. This suspected attack occurred near the Sea of Galilee, close to the border with Jordan and Syria, in the southern region usually targeted by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
