Kaia, Tether, and LINE NEXT are jointly hosting a hackathon to launch a DeFI mini Dapp based on Kaia USDt for LINE's global users.

Event Focus: Based on Kaia USDt and other stablecoin DeFi projects, there will be an opportunity to log in to the LINE Messenger "Dapp Portal" with 194 million monthly active users in the form of a Mini Dapp.

Bonuses and Investments: The total prize pool is 170,000 USD, with an additional opportunity for venture capital matching up to 1,000,000 USD (a total of 1,170,000 USD in support).

Global Parallel: Kaia, Tether, and LINE NEXT will host two stablecoin-themed hackathons simultaneously, providing support for developers worldwide.

Starting from August 25, 2025, the Kaia DLT Foundation (Kaia) will co-host the "Kaia Wave stablecoin Summer Hackathon" with Tether and LINE NEXT Corp. The event aims to select outstanding and commercially viable Kaia USDt and stablecoin Decentralized Finance projects, and support their log in to the LINE Messenger "Dapp Portal" ecosystem, which has 194 million monthly active users.

The award-winning team will launch in the form of a Mini Dapp, allowing users to experience stablecoin trading, staking, and yield functions within LINE, while integrating Kaia's powerful Web3 ecosystem and business network. This event is also connected to the Kaia Wave Season 2 ecosystem plan, providing ongoing support for Mini Dapp builders.

The total support amount for the hackathon reached 1.17 million USD: this includes a cash prize pool of 170,000 USD and an investment quota of 1 million USD for ten outstanding projects.
