"The energy market in Pakistan is facing a number of issues, particularly high electricity tariffs and excess generating capacity. The rapid growth of solar energy has further complicated the situation, as more and more consumers are turning to alternative sources of energy to reduce costs," lamented bin Sakib.

The CEO of PCC stated that Pakistan is among the top ten countries with the highest cryptocurrency penetration, despite the market still being unregulated. According to bin Sakib, with the upskilling of youth in blockchain and artificial intelligence and the increase in the export of virtual services, Pakistan will become a global hub for cutting-edge technological talent.

The Pakistani government previously announced the establishment of a special council for cryptocurrencies with the authority to promote innovations and create legislation for the regulation of digital assets.
