The Japanese yen rose nearly 1%, while the euro and Australian dollar maintained weakness in pre-market trading.

Jin10 reported on April 7th that the Japanese yen strengthened before the opening of the Asian market due to its safe-haven properties. According to the EBS platform quotes, the USD/JPY fell by 0.9% to 145.51, down from last week’s closing of 146.89; the EUR/USD fell by 0.6% to 1.0895. The AUD/USD fell by 0.7% to 0.6002.
