Scroll states that after evaluation, the costs of the security committee do not match actual usage. In early April, Scroll increased the fees for publishing data to the Ethereum mainnet by about 1280 times over approximately 6 days, causing users to incur an additional cost of over 50,000 USD; this adjustment was rolled back on April 9.
