Codex /goal, I sincerely recommend everyone try it at least once. Most likely, you'll come back and thank me.
Today, I ran a deep test with /goal, successfully adapting GPT-5.5 on my transfer station to Claude Code.
The reason is simple: many people around me are already used to CC's workflow but can't resist wanting to experience GPT-5.5.
The problem is also very realistic: although sub2api previously had a Claude Code compatibility mode, the cache hit rate was low, and Tool Calling compatibility was not ideal, so the actual experience always fell short.
With the idea of "seeing how powerful the new Codex features really are," I directly enabled /goal, ran it continuously for over 5 hours, and finally solved this issue thoroughly.
I also took the opportunity to submit a PR to the official, making sub2api run GPT-5.5 better under Claude Code.
The PR has been merged:
After the new version is pushed, those who want to reliably use GPT-5.5 in Claude Code should find it much more comfortable.
Subsequently, enabling "Allow /v1/messages scheduling" in the group will take effect.
One sentence summary:
/goal is not a toy; it can really get the job done.
