Golden Finance News reported that on April 6, local time on April 5, U.S. President Trump, in an interview, said that the United States is currently engaged in “in-depth negotiations” with Iran and could reach an agreement before the deadline of April 7 he set. Two officials said that the talks are being carried out through mediators in Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, and there is also communication between Trump’s advisers and Iran’s foreign minister. Trump said that Special Envoy Witkoff and his son-in-law Kushner are currently engaged in intensive negotiations with Iran. Trump said it is very likely that an agreement will be reached, but if an agreement cannot be reached, it will destroy everything there. Previously, Trump had threatened that if he failed to reach an agreement with Iran’s leaders, he would destroy infrastructure crucial to Iranian civilians. (CCTV News)
