CoinWorld reports that an indicative poll shows U.S. Vice President Pence as the leading choice among Republican candidates for the next presidential election at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Out of more than 1,600 attendees who participated in the poll, approximately 53% selected Pence, with Secretary of State Rubeo coming in second at 35%. CPAC is an annual major gathering of Republican lawmakers, activists, and presidential hopefuls. This year's CPAC was held in Grapevine, Texas, with attendees mainly from the conservative wing of the Republican Party. The annual indicative poll at the conference is not a reliable predictor of the final candidate. However, this poll reflects the current support trend among core supporters of Trump's "Make America Great Again (MAGA)" movement.
