According to CoinWorld News, Schwarzer is one of the early contributors to the o1 reasoning model. He led the post-training of o1 and o3 and has been leading the entire post-training team over the past year, delivering GPT-5, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3-Codex successively. Max stated that after joining Anthropic, he will be engaged in reinforcement learning research.
